The police chief should have told his negotiators to get the bad guy to cease fire while the two trapped officers came out and then he would pull all his folks out of the neighborhood. Let them suffer any resulting problems.

This doesn’t happen without middle Americans and our neighbors supporting the politicians and activists who encourage it and fan the flames.

But it was really interesting to see Krasner in his press conference this afternoon - no, no, no he had nothing to do with helping to end the standoff with the shooter yesterday, even though he had spend time on the phone with the perp and his lawyer trying to talk him down - no, no, no, it was all the work of the wonderful, brave, smart Philadelphia police that everything ended as well as it did - no he certainly had nothing to do with it - the police handled it all so well - Krasner knows he's stepped over the line in criticizing the work of the police and defending the crooks and it's coming back to bite him (but rumors persist that he couldn't get in to see the wounded police at Temple Hospital because they told him to leave).......
This week, it is bullets in Philly. What is the next escalation?
Clearly this is a problem of too many guns in the hands of law abiding citizens in the rest of the country!
