Todd Chrisley is accused of trying to extort his own daughter with a sex tape, just a month before he and his wife were charged with federal tax evasion and bank fraud.
Lindsie Chrisley reportedly told police her father tried extorting her to get her to lie about his tax issues as he faces potentially decades in prison.
She has distanced herself from her family after father Todd, 51, and stepmother Julie, 48, were arrested Wednesday and appeared in court in Atlanta, Georgia, for 12 counts of bank fraud and federal tax evasion.
The couple could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted, according to federal guidelines.

In August 2017, it was announced that USA Network had ordered a half-hour after show entitled According to Chrisley. According to Chrisley is hosted by Todd Chrisley and features Todd "tackling the truth about marriage, parenting, sex and relationships." Each episode also features a member of the Chrisley family, as well as a celebrity guest. The show premiered on September 12, 2017. It was cancelled after one season.
Growing Up Chrisley
In January 2019, it was announced that Chase and Savannah Chrisley were getting their own spin-off entitled Growing Up Chrisley. The show will follow Chase and Savannah as they "embark on a road trip from Nashville to Los Angeles to prove their independence." The show premiered on April 2, 2019 on USA Network.
The second season premiered on August 6, 2019.

I’m pleased to say that I’ve never even heard the name Crisley before this article, much less watched the shite-show. But I did enjoy reading about how much trouble they are in. Very entertaining!
Be careful about believing an estranged daughter’s claims. We have no idea whether she is lying, or not.
The dinner table hasn’t looked like that for years and years. The oldest son is a druggie who’s been in and out of court ordered rehab so much that Todd eventually gave up on him though they did take in the grandchild for a while. There were race scandals over that child.
Lindsie has the IQ and personality of a stump as does her wimpy husband. They’ve been estranged from Todd for years. She pops up occasionally in the show for the paycheck. Can’t imagine a sex tape of her would be very exciting.
Chase and whatsherface are too full of themselves but looooove the celebrity and the $$$$$$$.
And that youngest snot nose will end up with a rap sheet just like daddy. Todd has always had financial troubles.
