FULL TITLE: ICE DIRECTOR SAYS IMMIGRANT PARENTS 'ULTIMATELY THE ONES THAT ARE RESPONSIBLE' FOR BEING SEPARATED FROM THEIR CHILDREN
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) acting director Matthew Albence has blamed immigrant parents for agents separating them from their children, arguing that they are responsible for being detained.
"The parents or the individuals that are breaking the law are ultimately the ones that are responsible for placing their children in this situation," Albence said in a pre-recorded interview with NBC Nightly News, which will air in full on Tuesday evening.
The immigration official made the comment after he was confronted with a video of a crying child whose father was detained by ICE in a large raid in Mississippi last week. Gabe Gutierrez, who was interviewing Albence, asked what he would say to the young girl.
"I don't think I would speak to the little girl. I would speak to the parents and I would speak to the community at large. Look, I'm a parent, most of our officers and agents are parents – some of the most difficult things that we have to do in our jobs to enforce the laws involve the separation of parents from children," he said.
Pointing out that some ICE agents deal with separating families on a daily basis, he argued that the agency conducts "operations with professionalism, with compassion and with humanity." MORE AT LINK - INCLUDES VIDEO OF INTERVIEW

He is following the laws in the books. And he is enforcing the laws in the books.

How dare he say that non Whites are responsible for their children and their own behavior. Who in hell does he think he is with his white privilege. One of the problems with this is not that the parents and children are being separated. It’s that many of the people that are smuggling the children into the country are not their parents and are either being paid to get them in or exploiting them after they get in through illegal adoptions or into the child sex trade. In the past three months, there have been over 700 cases on the border like this.
And because the situation exists and is being abused, many of the parents that actually are the parents, have no documentation to prove it and place the ICE in a bad position trying to do what’s best of the children. It’s a no win situation for all that are legit but can’t prove it. And I can promise you the ones that aren’t lie like a rug. Who do you believe when the life of a child is in the balance?

Part of Obama’s legacy. His administration would release the adult and keep the child. The coyote would go back to Mexicom, get paid, harvest more children. Then child traffickers would show up to claim the detained child. Obama’s regime released the children directly to traffickers and never followed up to find out if the child was alright. Quite efficient child trafficking operation they had going there for years. :(
Agreed. It is the parent’s fault. These countries are not bringing their best to us. In fact, they are purposely exporting their worst.
