One of the problems with this is not that the parents and children are being separated. It’s that many of the people that are smuggling the children into the country are not their parents and are either being paid to get them in or exploiting them after they get in through illegal adoptions or into the child sex trade. In the past three months, there have been over 700 cases on the border like this.
And because the situation exists and is being abused, many of the parents that actually are the parents, have no documentation to prove it and place the ICE in a bad position trying to do what’s best of the children. It’s a no win situation for all that are legit but can’t prove it. And I can promise you the ones that aren’t lie like a rug. Who do you believe when the life of a child is in the balance?

Part of Obama’s legacy. His administration would release the adult and keep the child. The coyote would go back to Mexicom, get paid, harvest more children. Then child traffickers would show up to claim the detained child. Obama’s regime released the children directly to traffickers and never followed up to find out if the child was alright. Quite efficient child trafficking operation they had going there for years. :(
