I'm convinced that one day in the future, people will be studying how it was that the Left was so successful in manipulating language and redefining words. How was it that they were able to lie to the American people, while at the same time appearing not to lie, leaving them with no shred of doubt that they were being told the truth? Their ability to lie, and get away with doing so, is like a superhuman comic book power. They use this power with the same level of ease with which most of us breathe.
"Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth" are words attributed to Joseph Goebbels, the minister of propaganda for the Nazi Party. These same words could just as easily have been spoken by Lenin, Stalin, Mao, or any of the Kims of North Korea. The official state-approved newspaper in the USSR was called Pravda, and it was the sole "authoritative" source for "news" and "information" — or propaganda — available to the average Soviet citizen.
"Pravda" translates to English as "truth."
Telling the "truth" through lies is not a recent phenomenon, but it is something the Democrat Left has mastered to great effect by employing demagogic tactics that exploit people's emotions and built-in biases.

DemocRAT voters seem to gobble down lies like a vulture gobbles down guts at a road kill. They both seem to enjoy the stench.
Liberals are just following their DNA. Even when they suspect or even know of the lies their built in DNA programing as a pack animals tells them to follow the pack leader without question so that is exactly what they do.

I think a whole lot got made about using guilt to motivate people to do whatever the aggrieved party demanded as amends, only it’s been going on so long that increasingly the argument of “unconscious racism” is being relied on, which is to say that a person is wrong based on an accident of birth. So it has come full circle.
The American press has not been up to snuff for decades. It has been ridiculed in other parts of the world for being emotional fluff for a long time.
The abuse of language itself will be easy to ferret out since there is a mountain of academic studies on the subject.

Not quite. The Jacobins, Bolsheviks, and Vietcong “won” their battles, yet they were remembered as monsters worse than the people they deposed.
Something like 72% of people say the news lies, so it is probably a case of people acting like they believe what is mandated to be social truth. When people stop being terrorized and made an example of for going against the official line people will come out of the closet. If we had a choice, it seems likely that 72% of people would opt against the propaganda.
It is 100% because we do not have an “independent press”.
We have media corporations that get their “news” feeds from propaganda sources.
It helps that they have help from Bush League Republicans, who are really just Democrats in R jerseys.

That’s easy to answer. The answer is a complicit press that is willing to also lie to strengthen the Democrat lies. After all, the ends justify the means as far as they are concerned.
