While competing in Kansas City yesterday, Simone landed a triple-twisting double flip during her floor routine. For those of us who are nodding along without knowing what that actually is (i.e. ME), all you really need to know is that pass consists of three twists and two flips, and it's nearly impossible to do.

Her control of her body is about the best I’ve ever seen....and she does it with what appears to be at ease yet she’d trained greatly for this.

I did a cartwheel once for my daughter, she claimed it was more roundoff.
My level of proficiency is so low, I cannot possibly judge.
But I do enjoy watching them perform.
I do wonder what kind of toll that takes on the body. Her joints at 50 might be a mess.

I thought the main part of the routine was kind of so-so, but the dismount was absolutely amazing.
It looked like she was suspended in mid-air at the apex of her jump. They should check for anti-gravity spandex.

Japanese gymnast Kenzo Shirai throws a clean quadruple twist, and amazingly difficult combination tumbling at the 2013 Worlds in Antwerp. Enjoy the replays : three and half punch double full. Then quadruple twist. Total : 22.5 twists
