While some have been standing for decades, other college football traditions are just getting started. No matter what, it's these wacky and wild rituals and customs that make the game that much more fun to watch. TAMU students kissing after a TD. Knowing my luck with the co-eds, the only kiss I could hope for, if I went to TAMU, would be from the collie.
TAMU having yell leaders
U Mich jumping to touch the Big Blue sign
Notre Dame and their "Play Like a Champ Sign"
Oscoela and the USC Trojan stabbing their fields.
USC Song Girls
I have been to Toomer’s Corner several times tho just in passing. Nothing special at all.
Although it is not that old, Osceola planting his flaming spear beats them all.
Aggie bonfire.
OSU Buckeyes: Winning
Iowa Hawkeye fans waving in unison to children in the hospital that overlooks the stadium.
Good new one.
No UW Jump Around, list is invalid.
Navy ringing the bell from the WW2 USS Enterprise when they beat Army.
LSU fans cussing every time they hear Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer. :)
This is a great one, too. Big respect to Iowa for this one from a Badgers fan.
I really want to see a South Carolina Oregon State matchup every year. Cocks vs The Beavers.
FSU sucks.
Bevo from the University of Texas football team. Bevo goes back to 1916.
Isn’t there some real sports news outlet you could get these from?
We already Know where SI gets its advertising dollars.
However, even a broken clock is right twice a day
What? No Hotty Toddy or Dixie With Love In The Grove?
Unless of course the opponent is Iowa, Purdue, or Clemson.
Many people dont know this but Wake Forest started the tradition of rolling the trees. Pretty silly tradition, IMO.
MSU cowbells are just obnoxious and will give one a terrific headache. The SEC bans artificial noisemakers at every other school, so why does MSU get a pass?
I find the Army/ Navy post game when each school sings their fight songs to be the best tradition.
West Virginias Country Roads is pretty cool, too.
FSUcks. I like this one better
Or the NCAA ethics committee...
I got SI for free. I got on some list and get a bunch of them for free. It is so sorry that I let my subscription expire and would not renew it even for free.
For some reason they just keep sending it. I guess I will have to email them to stop.
