Im only going by the trailer in insisting that its not but thats more than most of its critics seem to be going on. This passage from THRs write-up of the movie, whose ads were pulled after the El Paso and Dayton shootings, is making the rounds:

I’ll show you deplorables: Maddox AOC, Thurmond, Barnett, Richardson, King, Baldwin, Wallace, Connor, Byrd, Wilson, Fulbright, Gore, Stennis, Eastland, Helms, Long, Ervin, Sparkman....
Don’t throw dung unless you have none on YOU.
Yeah, with all the hateful rhetoric progressives have been spewing lately, this won’t help the Left.
One line I have heard is from Hilary Swank the organizer of the hunt saying to the effect we have bought this world and can do whatever we want.
Sometimes a movie sneaks through that makes the “woke” look like idiots. There was a movie about a bunch of woke do gooders entering the Amazon forest and they meet gruesome ends from the native people.
Democrats brand conservatives as deplorables, so here are a few titles they themselves hold. Start with plantation owners.
I bet this has been in the works for a long time. The Left always has a political movie released around election time. Since no one is going to their movies this probably wont have much impact.the media attention will only hurt the left.
In this climate, we do NOT need a movie feeding the retarded left’s irrational hatred of anyone who’s not like them (while, of course, still spouting nonsense slogans like “diversity is our strength!”). We do not need some leftist idiot “inspired” by wet-dream fantasies of killing Trump voters. For what I can see, people on OUR side are pretty much at the breaking point with these idiots and it’s not going to take much to start people killing each other. That would be bad.
Those clowns (oops, sorry! A little white supremacist lingo there! /s) in Hollywood should take the [self-censored] out of their mouths and pay a little more attention to the world outside of their coke-fueled little bubble.
Didn’t she play a girl posing as a guy in some movie?
It does seem to show liberal elites as evil. Truth.
At their core the radical Left have empty lives and a death wish. This movie is very appealing to them. The fantasy that they hunt and kill conservatives is orgasmic for them. The fact that they are annihilated at the end is very consistent with the nihilistic narrative the lunatics have constructed. This film has the makings of a cult movie since it is based on the common pathology of a large group.
I’ve watched the trailer at least five times. My take was that whoever they normally pick for the ‘animals to be hunted’....they accidentally picked some gal who is a combination of ‘Dirty Harry’, ‘Frank Martin’ (the Transporter), ‘James Braddock’ (Chuck Norris in Missing in Action), ‘Sarah Conner’ from Terminator, and ‘Snake Plissken’ from the Escape from NY Movie. And the character has the most charming southern accent that anyone has done in years.
It probably would have been the most popular action movie of 2019. Even if they cut back on advertising....it won’t matter.
Just watched the trailer. It looks like a movie I would watch.
Its a riff on the story The Most Dangerous Game. Theyve changed the main characters from men to women and made it a group game.
And it doesnt seem biased about deplorables....it seems to want buzz to make money.
Thought the same thing, especially after the “this ain’t Arkansas” line
I heard that and don’t know how that helps the elite liberals.
A hunted women killing scores of men is not even close to original. Meh.
However, I actually believed that they made a movie about libels hunting down Trump supporters from the extensive hype. Proof a lie travels around the world ten times before the truth is heard once. Wow.
