Victoria's Secret has signed its first ever transgender model less than a year after an executive at the lingerie firm was criticized for making alleged transphobic remarks. Brazilian cover girl Valentina Sampaio, 22, made the announcement on her Instagram page Thursday night and posted behind-the-scenes photos of her photoshoot for Victoria Secret's Pink lingerie line. 'Backstage click,' Sampaio wrote in the caption of one photo. 'Never stop dreaming [people],' read another post, which included the hashtag '#diversity'.

“Companies stopped selling to Straight White People long ago”
That’s fine for them as long as they don’t lose a bunch of normal people.
Gays and transgenders don’t deserve to be persecuted but their lifestyles are unhealthy for a society.
“when Amazon has the same thing for $3.99 shipped.”
And they can get munched like Pac Man munches the dots.
Well to a point yes
But VS controls their pricing, not Amazon. Amazon is just a competitor
VS was popular and grew in the late 90’s to about 2010ish, college aged women liked the store for their styles, softness and selection. It was unique at the time. And even though it was more expensive then say Walmart, it wasn’t that much more and their customers saw the value.
Mid 2010s Amazon is extremely popular and college age girls are not going to malls like they used to, instead they can shop online. Their older loyal customers from the 90s and 2000s are not shopping their either. To supplement the shrinking college/young woman segment, they decided to raise prices, and ended up killing their loyal base they built earlier on as well. Those women have families now, $40 panties are no longer in the budget and they realize in the end of the day their husbands don’t care anyways (men don’t care, it all ends up on the floor anyways).
They are losing loyal customers and can not generate new customers from the college demographic, they are done. Only a matter of time. If they think the trannie market is going to save them, well they are going to shop online anyways. Most probably already do.
Amazon, by selling at lower prices prices VS out of the market. It does not matter why VS has the prices they do at all to make this statement true.
Dead Company Walking.
Actually VS prices themselves out of the market, not Amazon. Unless Amazon controls the factories and distribution. VS needs to look at why they priced themselves out of the market, only they can fix it. Hoping that Amazon raises prices or goes bankrupt is not a solution for them.
Dead Company Walking.

Yep. When companies start pulling stunts like this to get themselves in the news you know they’re on the decline. Healthy companies don’t need to do things like this.
Victoria’s Secret is slated to close 53 stores in 2019 after closing 30 in 2018, their televised fashion show has lost half it’s audience in the last two years.
This is a shot in the dark with a hope of reversing the decline, things like this rarely work and usually make things worse but the feeling among their management is probably “we’ve got to do something”. I doubt they’re in business five years from now.
One Halloween, the gays mobbed the Frederick’s of Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. in LA. They stole everything including the store fixtures. We were sightseeing and parked the car right by F of H but left as the Halloween crowd started showing up (how can you tell the difference?). Upon arriving back at the hotel, there was a special news alert showing all the rioting. So glad we left when we did.
Way to image shame women. It wasn’t bad enough the fashion world told us we needed to look like prepubescent malnourished 12 year olds but now we have to look like men who play dress up.
darn it I just sold my put on LB....knew I should have held off a bit for a little extra profit.
eh...30% isn’t so bad
