A 29 yo whaling on the head of a 61 yo is just short of attempted murder in my book. The man could easily be in a coma now.
Misdemeanor? $10k bond? BFD. Who thinks this thug gives a damn about the consequences of a misdemeanor? It should be felony assault.
If a man (in my case it would be almost 40 years younger) says he’s going to stomp my head in, I would take that as a murder threat (because it is) and out comes my S&W. Life isn’t TV. People don’t endure those kinds of beatings and walk away.
To me it looks like the 61 yr old is doing the universal “come on do it” gestures.
I’m not condoning the younger guys actions, but it looks more like a mutual combat situation.

Yep - doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you’re on - getting happy about a younger guy hitting an older guy ain’t classy - also makes it hard to condemn Antifa and others as they practice wanton violence on weaker/outnumbered folks.
