Wow.
That is a stunning dog.
That was my first impression. He lived a block over from me.. The first time I saw him, he was in profile, and turned to look at me. Made quite an impression. About a week later, I was walking my dog in a neighborhood cemetery, and he came running up to me. He was loose, so I took him back to his house. I talked to the owners, and when I said “ pitbull” it surprised them. They immediately became concerned because they had smallish children. This was in the late ‘’80s, and he was about 5 months old. He wasn’t yet square-headed, and “ pitbull” was just becoming a curse word.
They asked if I knew anyone that wanted him, so I started walking to a friend’s house to ask him. About halfway there, I turned around and went back and got him.
