CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - A South Side scuffle recently caught on camera shows a nail salon owner kicking a female customer and the manager tussling with her after they say she took off without paying her bill.
Community activist Ja'mal Green brought protesters to "Nails Show Design" Wednesday on 103rd and Saint Lawrence. Green says the woman in the video has mental difficulties.
He confronted the owners, as police watched the tense talk.

Since the “journalist” didn’t mention the race of either person, I presume they are both black.
If either one were white, it would have been national news.

Asians, whatever else they may be, are hard-working, industrious, and oddly, expect to be paid for their services. They are willing to take the risks involved in operating a business in a ‘diverse’ neighborhood, but they still expect to be paid. To some of their clientele, this practice of paying for service or food or stuff is considered optional. Thus conflicts arise.
Possibly, sadly, Freddie’s Fashion Mart/Korean Deli store fiascos.
No, it’s Asians that run the nail salon, the customers and majority of the neighborhood seems to be black.
In southern California all nail salons are run by the Vietnamese. Donut shops are all Cambodian.
Many dry cleaners are Korean though I don’t think that industry is dominated as completely as the other two I mentioned.

My wife and her friends have had the same 2 Vietnamese ladies doing their nails for over 2 decades.
These gals never advertise and all of their customers are loyal and refer friends and relatives to them.
"They should feel threatened by the fact that we going to stop the cash flow going up in there," said Green. "They need to take their shop back to their own neighborhood. If you can't respect us when we allow you to be here and make money off us, take your shop back to where you come from."
Apparently "go back to where you came from" is okay when blacks say it to Asians.
The customer also has bill paying troubles too.
It may be time for service oriented industries, such as these, to require payment up front prior to services being rendered, in certain neighborhoods. I doubt there is much tipping by these residents, it won’t affect the bottom line.
