Mario Lopez’s could be axed from Access Hollywood before his September hosting gig has even started, according to sources.
Lopez was reportedly forced to make his Wednesday apology for his June remarks on the Candace Owens Show that it was 'dangerous' for the parents of transgender children to support their offspring's transition.
NBC hasn't publicly spoken about the controversy but an insider claims executives at his new network were discussing what to do ahead of his on-screen debut for them.
'The execs at NBC held an emergency meeting yesterday to discuss Mario’s future with the show because they do not see how they can just let this fly,' a source told RadarOnline.
'Mario’s comments are not an accurate representation of what the network stands for at all. The network prides itself on equality and do not accept anti LGBTQ hate speech at all.'

Once you 'admit you're wrong' your opponent controls the debate.

Incidents like this expose where each group resides on the PC pecking order. Obviously LGBT-whatever trumps Latino.
We have Federal, State and Local Hate Crime Laws on the books that are completely and utterly Unconstitutional.
How any of these Laws have never been challenged in the Courts amazes me.
Hate is a Motive, not a Crime. Supposed Hate Speech is also protected under the First Amendment of our Constitution, but you wouldn’t know it.
Too bad.
The “transgender” issues are where the Left insists everyone must NOT be “scientific” but just political, regardless of the facts that demonstrate the “trans” personality is really just an obsession that has taken hold and convinced the person of lie, a dangerous lie.
When we fight this we must insist that yes sympathy and compassion towards the afflicted must be demonstrated but not at the expense of a strong stance against enabling the hold the obsession has. That sympathy and compassion can admit that yes fighting the obsession can be very hard, like fighting the worst possible of addictions, but that cannot change the point that the strong fight against the obsession is the best choice in the long run.
That was devastating to watch. And none of the perpetrators are actually paying for their crimes. Hollywood makes me sick.
