Personally, I have a 9mm (can’t beat the price to practice with, and easy to carry) but when I get enough money, I am getting a .45.

Had some 45’s and they aren’t fun. 357mag is fun. The recoil on .45 comes from the slide cycling not the explosion. Fair amount of muzzle flip.
