Since advise and consent is a Senate function, Pelosi has no impact. Let’s see if McConnell puts the Senate in recess so that Trump can freewheel.

That’s right...forgot all about the recess...wonder if Pelosi keeps some back just to keep things “officially” out of recess.Not the House. The Senate needs to be in recess for the President to make a recess appointment and McConnell hasn't let the Senate recess since POTUS was inaugurated!
