The National Archives released tape of a controversial 1971 phone call between then-California Gov. Ronald Reagan and President Richard Nixon. To see those monkeys from those African countries damn them, theyre still uncomfortable wearing shoes! the future two-term POTUS said, at which Nixon laughed. The conversation came the day after the United Nations including delegates from African countries voted to recognize the Peoples Republic of China over Taiwan.

Didn’t Nixon once refer to Idi Amin as “that cannibal bastard”?
Who the F* gives a $hit what someone said in what was supposed to be a private phone conversation almost 50 years ago? The media won’t report on anything that Democrats do wrong, but will dig back 50 years in order to denigrate a Republican.
I can just imagine the names the Kennedy boys, and their father called women when they were together.
Is that like the Texaco tapes? Oh, wait, he said “St. Nick.” Never mind.
The democrats ran the KKK.
“My question is what was the motivation behind releasing those tapes at this time? Seriously, what was to be gained? “
It’s part of the 2020 campaign.
Idi Amin Dada, President of Uganda, 1971-1978. Uganda voted with China.
“They called us black jelly beans!”
“No, the diversity lecturers called folks colored jelly beans. The executives were laughing about their stupidity. But go ahead, have a jelly bean.”
“Abraham Lincoln, who hated slavery and freed the slaves was told the new government of Haiti (following a successful slave revolt)...”
Haiti’s slave revolt ended in 1804.
Lincoln became president in 1861.
Is there no truth to this statement.
To this day when we see the people in Africa, many of them are barefoot. Where’s the insult?
He was not talking about American Blacks, right?
It was the cultures of the countries that Reagan was referring to, not their “race”.
* SEARCH AND DESTROY *
Democrats and their minions, the Democratic Media Complex, Liberals, Progressives, et. al. are searching the past, specifically Conservative and Republican pasts, looking for means to destroy Conservative and Republicans.
A popular song goes,
“All the monkeys aren’t in the zoo, every day you meet quite a few...”
It wasn’t about blacks.
Correct.
I don’t understand why the national media and Democrats are claiming minorities are “Monkeys.” Very racist to me.
Its not like when Johnson said “We pass this and we’ll have those N-—rs voting for us for a hundred years.” There was a true racist.
The timing is so suspicious. Right on the heels of the Baltimore controversy you can bet lefties at the National Archive were no doubt spending countless hours and days looking for tapes of any prominent Republican saying anything sounding racially insensitive. The lefts tried and true friend the race card makes another appearance!

They use labeling to avoid debate. They think if they can categorize it, they can dismiss it. "White fragility" is another attempt to categorize, label, and file away any resistance.
