I’ll say it again, there is not a single candidate currently running that will beat Donald Trump in 2020. Not one. Unless someone steps up his or her game big league, Donald Trump is going to win a second term as president of the United States. Now, that being said, after tonight’s CNN Democratic debate, there had to have been a winner. I thought Sen. Bernie Sanders was one of them. He needed to be feisty, aggressive, and willing to attack. He did that, but he will need to destroy his best pal, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, to start a foundation from which he can reach the top of the 2020 field. It remains to be seen whether he’s willing to engage in that sort of campaign. Yet, that brings us to Marianne Williamson. She puts the “side” in the outsider. We’re in the era of the political outsider. And with Williamson, she’s way out there, but she also had the better moments of tonight’s debate, clinching some of the biggest applause lines, spikes in Google searches, and appeared to have what the others don’t: something new to offer.

MSM isn’t saying much about her today. If she won over anyone new, it would have to be someone who actually watched the debate.
I made it through 37 minutes of it. It was predictably boring.
WOW! 37 minutes? You’ll never get those back. Didn’t you have a drain to clean out or something worth while? LOL!
Chelsea should be ready in a few years to take up her mother’s crusade for her rightful place in the Oval Office.
The point is that nobody cares. This was just one of two shows which diminished everyone on stage. People could not really look presidential. Weird people had the same stage as a goof balls. So the candidates were either boring or clowns. But none were leaders.
The Pirates and Reds put on a far more interesting show with their Base brawl game.
Of course CNN gave everybody all the questions in advance so they could prepare, and ear pieces for all so they could get their info from someone backstage.
Hey Marianne if we are responsible for slavery and have to pay for it, as a Democrat you are responsible for millions of dead babies. That sure makes your aura UGLY.
We need more of her. I could watch a Marianne Williamson cable channel all day.

When Trump won the GOP Primary debates, the reaction was the same. “Interesting but he will never make it to the next round.”
Calling what they pass off as debates, debates, is pathetic.
These things are not “debates” in any sense of the word.
They are things designed by and run by the media to get ratings, and eyeballs, they have ZERO intent on inform or discussion or even intellectual thought.
Want to have a debate? Lets put the nominee for both parties at a table. Set the topic, and let them talk it out.. Moderator, if there even is one, is only there to diffuse the discussion if it degrades into ad hominem and personal attacks.
Unlike the “debates” of today, that are only about creating those things for sound bites.

There were only 2 people on the GOP stage during the 2016 primary debates that had ANY presence at all.. the X factor if you will... Trump and Christie.
Trump’s presence was so large, that even though the press did EVERYTHING they could to diminish it.. .bad mic, bad angles, etc etc etc... Anyone who watched those debates and understood where a lot of the country outside the coastal left wing enclaves was, knew Trump was going nowhere.

Just for laughs, can you picture a debate between GOP nominee Trump and Dem nominee Williamson? I think it’d be wildly entertaining.
If reparations are to be paid, they should be paid by the only existing significant national political entity that supported slavery and Jim Crow and provided the great majority of the opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act, i.e. the Democrat Party.
