First Lady Melania Trump suited up as she welcomed members from the United States Special Olympics World Games team to the White House on Thursday.
Mrs. Trump was chic and sophisticated in the Oval Office and in the East Room in a navy Michael Kors suit and white menswear-inspired shirt, paired with matching navy Manolo Blahnik leather stilettos.

I don’t see any difference in that outfit and any other similar one she has worn. Pants/blouse/jacket?????
All samey same! That woman is going to pay dearly some day with painful feet....
Kind of looks like she dressed in the outer garment and forgot to take off what she was already wearing.
“”I dont like the short pants.””
Have to agree. I don’t know about you - I think you’re younger than I am but I long ago gave up on what’s/what’s not fashionable and if that’s fashionable, then I’m out of fashion.
looks like a Down’s Syndrome person in the group...just makes me more aware as to how the left wants to kill them, and how our President is pro life.
I own a Michael Kors purse - second-hand, of course, LOL!
Melania looks lovely a always, and that GENUINE smile of hers cannot be faked!
And quit being so catty about Mrs. Pence. She would probably look just fine, were it not for Melania being in the room. YOU try standing next to her sometime and see how you measure up. :)
She has slimmed down considerably! I wish we could hear more about her Pet Projects, but alas - The Enemy Media FORBIDS it!
*SPIT*
It’s nice to see President and First Lady Trump honoring the People in the Special Olympics.
And the Athletes look genuinely happy and proud to be there.
This flies in the face of both Obama, who mocked the Special Olympics on Late Night TV, AND the World-Cup-Winning US Women’s Soccer Team, whose leader mocked and debased our country with her behavior.
A WINNING TWO-FER for Our Beloved President Donald J. Trump (OBPDJT)!
I’m 53. I assume that, if Mrs. Trump is wearing something, it is in fashion. However, I can still not like it.
Yeah, it’s more like something Michelle Obama would wear.
Well, 4 sizes larger.

WELL! Who knew, that FR fashionistas could be sooo shallow about what the two hard-working FLOTUS and VPlady wear!?
Remember the old Star Trek where Spock said the definition of insanity was being able to hold two contradictory thoughts without seeing the difference? Yeah, they passed that point long ago. They can argue “Bake the cake” and simultaneously claim Youtube can deplatform because they’re a private company without seeing the contradiction.
I really like this picture. They both look like they are enjoying meeting this team. Lots of warmth and good humor.

Makes me laugh. We girls weren’t allowed to wear slacks — ever, for any reason — when I was growing up. In Buffalo. In the winter. Dad sent us off to school looking like that. A skirt with “leggings” (usually scratchy wool) underneath. Who knew that in 60 years someone would rock that look in the White House?
I have a lot of years on you, gal...Working years I suppose I did go along with whatever was in vogue at the time. Don’t have the time or the need for it now.
You got off easy. I grew up in upstate NY - Tioga County and my sister and I had to wear horrible brown heavy stockings in the winter and that was when winter clothing (snow pants) was worn also. I don’t believe there were any other girls in school who wore those horrible brown stockings, held up by garters, I guess. No matter how hard we worked to sneak out of the house to the bus covered up by our snow pants and NO BROWN STOCKINGS, our mother was too smart for us. I do remember being in 7th Heaven when spring came and we could get back to ankle socks.
We had a great aunt who lived to 107 and when she saw women/girls wearing ankle socks, she called them “short stockings” and was appalled at the idea.
I wear skirts with leggings in the winter, but they’re more like stockings than like slacks.
