It’s been suggested that Congressman Ratcliffe (R-T) is nominated to play the “Scaramucci” role, to go in, clean it out, and he then can move on if he likes. Scaramucci was gone in 10 days.

Heck, maybe Ratcliffe will close it down. The DNI was formed to “unite” the various intel agencies in the US government.

Ratcliffe is reportedly needed to make Declass happen. POTUS circumvented DNI Director Coats, by giving all declass authority to only Barr at JD, because Coats was untrustworthy and of high risk for bottling up and choking down Declass. Coats was also leaker.

He’s sorely missed by Schiff and Brennan, who have been tweeting their regrets he is out and Ratcliffe is in.

Interim appointee will be Scarmucci Model, clearing the way for Ratcliffe.
The final question will be whether Ratcliffe is a [placeholder] or not.

IIRC Coats leaves on the 15th of August. Ratcliffe won't be approved until this fall or later. IMHO the Scaramucci model applies to whoever POTUS appoints to run DNI in the interim.
