A missile launcher was found in a man’s checked luggage at the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday morning, Transportation Security Administration officers said.
TSA officials said they tracked down the traveler and detained him for questions, according to WBAL. The man, a resident of Jacksonville, Texas, told TSA officials that he is an active military member and was traveling home from Kuwait. He told the officers that he wanted to keep the launcher as a souvenir.
TSA says military weapons are not permitted in checked or carry-on luggage and the item was confiscated and handed over to the state fire marshal for safe disposal. The launcher was not a live device, TSA officials said.
The man was able to catch his flight.

I really have no idea what you are saying. I think I am right that the governor of Texas appoints replacements for interim vacancies of federal office seats; the Texas governor is Republican and would replace a Republican House member - John Ratcliff - with another Republican. The Democraps and their governor of California have basically outlawed the Republican Party everywhere that they can get away with it. Perhaps he would have to hold a special election; I'll bet they already have a plan to torpedo Nunes in his next election... we will see. Safer to leave Nunes in office.
The Governor of Texas can fill a vacant Senate seat, but not a House seat. House seats can only be filled by election. Look it up.

If Donald Trump has to be acquitted, much better for it to come at the hands of a group of people as corrupted and partisan as the Senate Republicans.
Robert Mueller remained tight-lipped and cautious during his much-hyped testimony Wednesday morning. But the hearing highlighted two things: First, there is a real opportunity for a televised trial of President Donald Trump's behavior; and second, such a trial, if it harnessed all the theatrics and color that Democrats can muster, could seize control of the news cycle from the man who has dominated it for years.

They’re not stupid when it comes to always finding ways to enrich themselves, consolidate power over others and feed their various lusts, but they are stupid when it comes to dealing with adversaries like Trump and his people. Their wits are stunted with their greed, envy and hatred.
