I’m always amazed at how someone can desperately want to politicize something that is just fundamentally not political at any level.
There’s that old quote from Mussolini:
“Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state”.
Everything is political. That’s how totalitarianism is done.
They either politicize it or accept their shortcomings; rather than address a cultural shortcoming that places no value at all on education, they’ll just attack anything that exposes the deficiencies.
Attacks on “white privilege” in general are simply envious rants against a (disappearing) WASP system that focuses on intact nuclear families and a solid work ethic (education ties to the latter).
