I’m not a big one for ideological purges. And for goodness sakes, it’s only a movie. McGillis had a major role in the first movie. It would have been a nice thing to do to include her in the sequel. As Tax-chick noted, McGillis could have had a minor roll as an analyst, or something like that.
You need to read post 33 and check out the interview she did in 2013. She regretted her role significantly. Why, exactly, should she be rewarded with a cameo on the sequel to a film she so recently expressed regrets working on?
Oh, and why should she be given a cameo which would let the media give her a platform to spew her leftist line on every talk show?
