The marriage of Slick and Herself was, at its base, one of the more cynical matches ever made. He thought Herself had a “fine analytical mind”, and she though Slick was a very malleable form of sculpting clay.
Like a match made to the specifications of the Mafia. Or in the image of the New Soviet Man and the New Soviet Woman.
Both were dedicated leftists long before they either one graduated from college, and it was only confirmed in their sojourns in law school, where they studied the law, not for its beauty and logic, but to find the loopholes.
