I was an only child for a long time but my aunts each had 4 kids. And we all went everywhere together. So 9 kids and 3 women. I know of twice that we all got somewhere and noticed a kid was missing. When we got back to the house we left from, there he sat. Playing with his cars in the dirt beside the house. Same thing with my other male cousin we had left behind.
Makes one wonder how he treats patients at the VA....
“So many posts presuming guilt until proven innocent.”
“Damn right.”

Comes naturally from the facts.
Not if you forget them in the back of your car to die.
FWIW In many cases, this happens when the parent is not the one who usually drops the child off at daycare, gets distracted, and goes straight to work. The child is asleep in the backseat, can’t be seen in the rearview mirror and not making a sound.
As another post said, blame it on airbags. Out of sight, out of mind.
I couldn’t carry it.
There’d be no way.
Can you imagine the weight of such a burden as this?
Hell on earth is a real thing.
My first two babies were screamers. No car ride was ever quiet with them.
My third baby was very quiet. If not for him, I would never believe a baby could be so quiet.
If this man did not leave his babies in the car on purpose, those poor twins must've been sound asleep.
I cant even begin to understand how this can happen.
Lord, have mercy.
Res ipsa loquitor.
Amen
Its the new standard in America.
Yeah, "Let the buyer beware."
I have no idea how anyone can forget a child or children. I have read that often when this happens it is not the parent/caregiver that normally drops them off. Change of normal routine.
I don’t know what to think when this happens but I have not been in the parent’s shoes. I did not work when my children were growing up so did not experience the day care drop off which seems to be the issue with most of these incidents.
Some dumbass prosecutor in Oregon forgot his kid all day. No charges. Kid is OK.
So he can take 2 kids and spend 2 minutes strapping each kid in, but forgets they are there, and the wife never calls to check on if they got there? I have a 22 year old son that my wife tracks like a bloodhound. Me, I just leave him in the car, but he still figures out how to escape, the bum.
Agreed,,
Lock his ass up. How long? As long as the life expectancy for a newborn.

The father should be left sealed in a car, in the desert, until he’s mummified.
He must work wonders for his clients' kids.
