I'm just curious as to how much of the approximate 1950 miles is now built?
Another one said 50 miles. The semanticists say that is rebuilding not new construction.

The Wall is a complete waste of time and money. We need to completely saturate the southern border with landmines. Nothing says “keep out” or “stay home” like a missing leg.

Simply put, keep out the most illegal immigrants coming across our southern border per dollar. Help the Border Patrol explicitly. SCOTUS just allowed 2 1/2 billion to be taken from Defense for new wall/Fence. That should do about 100 miles.
It’s a slow process when you have asshats fighting you every inch of the way but it will get done and I see the dems losing the house at the next election for being felonious obstructionists.
I can only say what I’ve seen and that is 30 miles in NM replacing Normandy type barriers and some barbed wire.

Add to that 705, a lot of the 1,954 miles is considered impassable due to mountains, desert, etc.
Does anyone have the number of miles that NEED a wall?
