I now have a deeper appreciation of why the U of O is so messed up.
My best friend in high school was a bit of a commie. U of O made it a little worse. Many apolitical friends came out of there with a leftward slant. That’s just the nature of academia, I suppose. There was a prof that they all raved about...Bill Cadbury....”genius”....”intellectual”...taught a lot of philosophy courses. .I had him for a History of Motion Pictures class. Smart enough guy, but how smart can you be and still wear a “Jackson for President” button?
