I use html-online.com to create the codes for me. I can kinda see some of the coding for opening in a new tab when I look at the two lines of the drop that contains the link with the icon of the folder  (both lines are together in the drop without any breaks):

So the first time that link is used, it has:

target="_blank" rel="noopener"

Right after that, the link is used again and it includes:

target="_new"

If you want to make a link open in a new tab, after the closing quotation mark on the link, put a space, and target="new"

The target command tells the link to open somewhere else. You can name the new window anything, but I always just use "new"
