Bush had delivered his most convincing ‘justification’ speach while offering to share Kelly with Bill, anchoring it to Clinton’s Order of the Rose allegiances. The idea of compromising him through blackmail ahd offended Clinton, yet he was obviously disgusted with Bush for attempting to sell him on “evolutionary justifications” as to why he should be sexually active with Chelsea, if not Kelly. This conflict between the two ran much deeper than sexual preference. Where Bush adhered to pedophilia as the means to an “evolutionary” end, the Clinton’s voiced belief in genetic engineering and cloning as the means to the same end.
