Spiritual guru and 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson clarified on Twitter Tuesday that she is not a cult leader and claimed she does not question vaccine science.
The 66-year-old self-help book author made the statement about a month after she first had to clarify her stance on vaccinations in the US.
I am not a cult leader. I am not anti-science (that one is almost funny, given how much I quote Einstein). And I am not an anti-vaxxer Williamson wrote in her tweet Tuesday.
Hoping that if I repeat it 3 to 4 times a day I might penetrate the field of lies created to keep some people out of the conversation, she added.
In June, Williamson reportedly said at a campaign event that, the US government doesnt tell any citizen, in my book, what they have to do with their body or their child.
After drawing criticism, she backed away from the vaccine-questioning rhetoric and released a statement on Twitter, writing: I understand that many vaccines are important and save lives. I recognize there are epidemics around the world that are stopped by vaccines.
I also understand some of the skepticism that abounds today about drugs which are rushed to market by Big Pharma. I am sorry that I made comments which sounded as though I question the validity of life-saving vaccines. That is not my feeling and I realize that I misspoke, she added.
Williamson, who was once hailed as a spiritual legend by Gwyneth Paltrow, garnered national headlines after she delivered passionate but rambling responses during the first 2020 Democratic presidential primary debate.

I wonder how many hits of acid it takes before you start sounding like her?
“I am not anti-science (that one is almost funny, given how much I quote Einstein).”
Well, you actually can’t argue with that kind of logic.
But she is the hottest candidate, hands down.
She’s certainly not the leader of their cult!

I think this is a very reasonable position considering the way some thing get through the FDA and other agencies.
She comes across as a social justice cult leader, given the leaked video of her leading a prayer where all white people in the audience personally apologized for systematic oppression and the evil of being white.

“Danger zone” or “No go zone”?
She’s definitely TFN. Thats a no-go unless you’ve got nothing to lose and time to waste.
I’m sure she loves all the Unvaccinated Third World Children Illegally coming into our Country.
That’s just crazy.
She could open a beer can with her chin...
Not bad looking for a few years shy of 70 - must be doing something right....
Channeling Christine "I am not a witch" O'Donnell.
“But she is the hottest candidate, hands down.”
In terms of pure looks, I think Kamala Harris is the hottest. Tulsi Gabbard isn’t bad either.
First you have to win the Dem nomination.
Then you can be a cult leader.
We are waiting for you!!!
Sounds an awful lot like a hippie.
