I wonder what he was doing out in that neck of the woods at 2am. Russell Woods (the neighborhood he was in) is a very high crime area, from the crime stats I’m seeing online. It’s one of those spots where you can buy a 6 bedroom brick house for $30K. Either this young man was a well-meaning, naive type on his way home from some late-shift job... or he was not at all what they are portraying him to be.

The victim was lynched. Lynching is usually associated with a rope but it doesn't have to be.
