I had five or six encounters with such low-life before I was 35 and got sucker punched and decked once. These were all in supposedly good and safe places, too. I developed a healthy respect for street dangers and my situational awareness climbed to paranoia levels as a result.
I was thinking the same thing the victim was from Berkeley, CA. In reality, there is a suburb of Detroit named Berkley where the victim was from.
You don’t get out of your car in the ghetto, for any reason, if you are white.
Better to have them charge you with a hit and run and let your lawyer argue for extenuating circumstances than to be killed.

I too had several instances where “people” simply walked up to me, challenged a fight, or in one case walked up to the counter at McDonalds and simply walked off with my food while eating it and smiling at me. That last one was in 1983 when I was 16 yrs old.

A high school friend of mine had an older brother and his older brother got in a car wreck down in DC. Two guys got out of the car and beat him so badly that he has never been the same mentally ever since, and I don’t mean a Psychotic Reaction, he is severly mentally impaired because of the beating he took at the hands of those two. They were never caught. This was in the 70s.

Unfortunately, that is just not true for liberals. There is NO amount of solid, indisputable, irrefutable, empirical evidence that can convince them they are wrong about anything.
I live in central AR between Crime Bluff (Pine Bluff) and Little Memphis (Little Rock). I’ve been carrying a long arm since I was 16, and a handgun since I was 21, even before concealed carry. We have always known that it doesn’t take much for the natives to go Mau Mau around here.
All the news outlets are censoring the beating. WHY? Can’t find it on YouTube or LiveLeak either.
