What really ironic about NY City - it has a communist mayor, and large entitled class of leftists, who nonetheless live off the taxes on about 300 super-wealthy crony-capitalists, who are in NY because its the center of trading in securities priced in America’s printed, fiat, Federal Reserve manipulated currency.

Reading and math were dropped as serious subjects generations ago at public schools. So really nothing will change. I wouldn’t worry about it. Hard to go lower than zero when it comes to what’s being taught.
Education is racist if black and brown kids don’t do as well as white and Asian kids. Bringing up the black scores is hard — crippling white kids education is easier.
What will it take for the remaining white democrats to realize this?
Yea right, the whole curriculum is so infested with “White Privilege” that kids of Asian descent score higher on average than “white”.
The problems are not in the schools. The real problems are in the homes and families that the kids come from.
Parents who leave all school outcomes to the schools alone are parents that are failing their kids.
