I see this as a repeating pattern with POTUS and the derps. And I keep wondering if they are really that stupid to play into his hand. It’s shocking how often they fall for it. The pattern is that POTUS wants to do something that the derps are going to object to, so he gets them to DEMAND that it be done.

Examples:
1. indict a former president
2. televise Gitmo trials.

a bunch of others, but those are 2 prominent ones from this week.

Not surprising. The combination of Donald Trump and Military minds, all of whom are students of Sun Tzu makes this a foregone and repeated strategy.

This axiom explains the derps being constantly out-maneuvered.

The derps are completely predictable. Hell, I can almost do it myself and I'm not a super genius or a military genius.
