LOL! same thing with my tools and my stereo equipment!
I already told my grown boys that they know where everything is. Dont fight over it.
My son worked as a cashier at Academy Sports and early in his job, he was surprised by how many men would come to the counter with fishing tackle and put them in two piles: one for the credit card and one to be paid in cash. When he asked one of the guys why, he was told that he didn't want his wife to know how much he spent on fishing tackle.
How many of us would say the same thing about firearms?
From one angler to another. My greatest fear after I die is, my wife will sell all my tackle for what I told her I spent for it, as opposed what it’s actually worth.
I cant get away with that for fishing tackle or for guns. Mrs. L is quite fond of both activities. So Im always careful to spend just a bit more on her stuff than I do on mine. For instance the handguard for her AR cost 3 times what I spent on mine:

She had the charging handle and BTE trigger cerakoted to match. The 16 inch chrome moly fluted barrel is pretty sweet, too. She cant wait to show it off at the Zombie Shoot in September:
Buying her 1911 was painful. She fell in love with the Kimber Raptor:

She looks absolutely bad ass in the 5-11 LBE she set up. I have had men sidle up to me when shes shooting and ask where in the hell did you find her and are there anymore available?
Shes pretty much one of a kind. is all I can say.
Her favorite rod is a St. Croix in purple, of course. Been smacking some lunker largemouth bass in one of the local lakes lately. She even baits her own hooks. Well, she does draw the line at live leeches. We have a guided Muskie hunt planned for next month. Im sure shell land a 5 footer and make me look like a rookie....
Enjoy your day.

My brother-in-law is a hard core fisherman. When he brings a salmon home, my sister always reminds him "That's a nice $200/pound salmon, Bill"
