Agreed. Whatever sympathy I may have for what I am guessing are his politics, that kind of comment would be inappropriate in any venue. Posting it online causes me to believe he lacks the judgement and temperament required of an LEO.
That’s the key point, in my opinion. Back in the day, you’d have a few drinks with your friends, say something overwrought, and everyone has forgotten it the next day. Now, it’s all in print for the world to see.
