Her Majesty’s navy is but a shadow of its former self, but no doubt still has the ability to teach Iran a lesson or two. However, it appears that warm waters do not agree with some of the RN’s destroyers.

I remember after 9/11 watching BBC with the newsreaders with US/UK flag lapels. I believe we’ll give them aid of some sort, it is their ships and their problem for now. Let them make some moves.

With what? The Type 45s can’t operate anywhere near there (heat problems) and a bit less than half of all the Type 23s the RN has were already in the area and we saw what good that did.
