Watermelons slicked with oil.. More cleaning for parents? Not really, those piglets made plenty of mess. Sounds like the kids will have a fun time, and 4H will grow even smaller as yet another opportunity to interact with animals is tossed aside on the liberal alter of righteousness.
I’m sure liberals would approve of it if the fair renamed it post birth fetus slaughter. Funny how they’ll fight to the death for a defenseless animal, but something that is human is just fine to destroy.
I was in a greased pig contest when I was a kid. First prize was you won the pig. Damned hard trying to hold onto a greased pig. I think the pig actually won that day.

Not long ago, a fireman lost his job when he brought a watermelon to work to share with his colleagues. This offended some of the blacks in the crew and he was branded a racist.
I was thinking more of the children’s welfare.
“You have to carry this 10 pound greased watermelon all around that obstacle course in the 104 degree heat. And if you aren’t first across the finish line, you’re a loser. A LOSER - you hear me!!??”
I guess the kids can still head up to Cody, Wyoming where they have the rodeo every night during the summer. Including trying to catch the pig. Well - it’s been 20 years, I’m assuming they are still using a pig.
