heat and ultraviolet degrade fentanyl.
Thanks BenLurkin.
We need to declare war on Mexico, take over that God forsaken place, kill their corrupt leaders, and start that place over.
Well, kalifornia could be a good place for a dry run.
The idea of a "we" has been seriously diluted due to the poor immigration control and lack of assimilation over the past 50 years. To quote the possessed Linda Blair in the Exorcist, now "We are legion."
i know what it is, it doesn’t mean it cannot be destroyed...
I’m on fentanyl for nerve damage in my arm, and have been for almost a decade with no dosage increase in over six years. In medical settings, properly administered, it is not generally dangerous. They gave me IV doses after transplant for a central line, and for an ovarian cyst last year. I now know what it feels like to be kicked in the pills, because that is the same nerve cluster. It sucks.
The crap on the street is dangerous, because dosage is not controlled. There’s a reason it is administered in micrograms (mcg). I’m on 50/hr. Law enforcement encounters enitre pounds.
Narcan is effective on heroin, but not so much on fentanyl. It can take triple the dose of narcan, and that may not even work.
I fear for them.
50? That’s a lot in my experience, I lost 2/3 of the skin on my right hand and only got a 25 mcg shot ... then they followed it up with a shot of dilaudid. Fentanyl, not so scary to me, in THAT setting. Dilaudid, now that stuff scares the piss out of me - one shot, then another when I got to the burn unit to do the actual work, i actually wanted more ...
Oh, sorry, my sympathies for your suffering. No personal experience with nerve issues so hard for me to relate.
