My “I can’t believe anyone like that” song is “Walk This Way” Either the Aerosmith version or the Rap version that was done in the 80’s.
The ‘melody’ line is like a freaking nursery rhyme. With incredibly stupid lyrics and “Walk This Way!” shouted over and over and over again.
Back in the 90’s the music shop I used to visit had a sign which read, “NO SWEET CHILD”.
At least with Freebird you got your money’s worth out of a jukebox.
Lol. Yep.
Great idea!
ping for later
Went to a Frampton show in ‘79 and .38 Special was the opener.
They were great but I felt bad for them because the audience was primarily teenage girls who screamed at the top of lungs the whole time they played, “FRAMPTON!, FRAMPTON....”
“I remember one chick that was the only song she would play. Over and over and over and.....”

Best meal ever!

Thanks...it works on Mariachi bands too!
Skynyrd is down to one original member, Gary Rossington. Ricky Medlocke was only a member of the band during the Muscle Shoals session as a studio musician when the first album was produced.
No record company would give them a contract so the album sat in Muscle Shoals for 8 years until after the plane crashed when it was released as “Skynyrd’s First and Last”.
And the referenced Muscle Shoals studio was the 2nd one not the original.
Right up there with "Stairway to Heaven" by Lead Zeppelin.
Agree. But I regard most of Aerosmith in that vein.
Oh, but the best is Eric Clapner.
Back in the 60s the guitar shop I used to visit had a sign which read IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO, DON’T DO IT HERE.
F* Neil Young.
Bruce Dickinson has Frampton beat by a couple minutes.
Iron Maiden - Empire of the Clouds is Bruce's 18 minute and 2 second magnum opus about the airship R101. Nothing will ever compare to it.
I never thought it was even the best Lynyrd Skynyrd song. That honor would go to Tuesdays Gone.
It was very well received in Winterland (SF) circa 1976.
The boys brought the house down Friday and Saturday night.
I saw both shows.
The original band was simply amazing live. I left astounded, both nights.

Iron Maiden is still going strong too. I'm going to see them next week. It's gonna be great.
