Seems like it got a lot worse back in the 60s, with a lot of bombings, the infamous demonstrations and the riot in Chicago, taking over buildings, etc. But the country seemed strong enough then that they seemed to be tilting at windmills, and eventually I suppose they all turned to undermining. Now the antics seem like a weak facsimile of what they had going back then but there’s the fear the politicals will just go oh, ok, revolution it is then and away it’ll go.

We do live in interesting times, don’t we?
I believe we are being tried and tested. Our elected POTUS has affirmed the Covenant we as a nation have made with God in our Founding. By His Grace, I truly believe we will be spared another bloody civil war, and we will ultimately maintain our Union.
That is my own opinion, and I recognize and respect that others may have theirs.
