Christians are taught that the Adam and Eve are the first people and their descendants were Jews. Thus Christians easily support Israel in thier historical homelands.
All people were descended from Adam and Eve. As men are prone to do they disobeyed and the fall happened. We all live in consequences of the fall and sin. God chose Abraham and his line to be Israel. It is a long beautiful story that points to God’s provision of His son Jesus who was sacrificed to replace sin of all who believe with His perfect righteousness so we can be reconciled to God and live with Him forever. When Israel was about to go into the Promised Land this was the message from Deuteronomy 18:9-13
“When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God,
And this from Leviticus 18:27-28
“27 (for the people of the land, who were before you, did all of these abominations, so that the land became unclean), 28 lest the land vomit you out when you make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.”
And this from Deuteronomy 9:4-6

4 “Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you. 5 Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm the word that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
6 “Know, therefore, that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stubborn people.”
God told them He would kick them out if they lived like those people did. Well, they did. People do. God hates sin. He gave those pagans about 400 years to repent but they ran out of time. To me this relates to where we are today. Same enemies of God doing the same evil deeds.
