Any time anything weird happened in school my kids did not have to be part of it. To the point of switching schools and or homeschooling. They knew they never had to do anything that was bad for them

I would have ZERO problem with this, as long as I could control the educational curriculum on this trip - with the #1 most important lesson being that Islam is NOT a religion, it is not a CULT, it is a world dominating THEOCRACY that is evil at it’s root - with evidence and examples, as well as including one Apostate Muslim as special speaker, prior to the tour. Plus, mandatory viewing of the film ISLAM as blessed by Imams prior to 9/11. I’ll have these little cherubs so turned off to Islam that an “educator’s” head would explode!
And it is already guaranteed to have failed.
I would also expect that the school would make boys wear a yarmulke if they took a field trip to a Jewish Temple.

THANK YOU! It is an aggressive THEOCRACY and our side needs to wake up to this. I still shake my head about how many Freepers think it’s a “religion” or, worse, a “cult”. In modern parlance, “cult” is misleading and not helpful.
The boys in the class should have refused to go since Islam discriminates against girls.

Not that I think they should visit a mosque, but how is this any different than literally every cathedral in Europe? Women are required to dress modestly or they will be denied entrance or asked to leave. Notre Dame in Paris and all that I visited in Rome and elsewhere even offer shawls and wraps to cover shoulders and legs.
So, there was a dress code for boys as well. No baggy, saggy pants.
