In this case the 18 year old admitted the ‘signals’ were there where this was headed.

well just my personal opinion but i hate to see our tax money wasted (my word) on cases like this... if the young man was 18 and in such a place where people go to meet new people,
it is a total waste of our tax money to drag this into court
in my opinion.

I've mentioned this before and I will mention it again. There was an employee at my company who in 2015 went thru months of hell which included being jailed after being accused of molesting the girlfriend of his young teenage daughter. After all was said and done, it was discovered that the accuser was put up to it by the ex wife who was trying to get custody of the daughter..........
Andy never fully recovered and in the summer of 2017 after losing his job when the plant closed in Dec. of 2016, he took his life..........
