NEW YORK (Reuters) - A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the release of documents relating to hush-money payments by Donald Trumps former personal lawyer Michael Cohen to two women who said they had sexual encounters years ago with the U.S. president, declaring the matter of national importance. U.S. District Judge William Pauley in Manhattan ordered that the documents, used by federal prosecutors to obtain a search warrant for Cohens home and office last year, must be unsealed by 11 a.m. (1500 GMT) on Thursday. Cohen, 52, pleaded guilty in 2018 to directing payments of $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels and $150,000 to Playboy model Karen McDougal to avert a scandal shortly before the 2016 presidential election. Trump has denied having encounters with the women.

How come releasing Obama's Hawaii birth records wasn't of "national importance," if this is?

No such thing as attorney-client privilege any longer.
At least, not for Republicans.

"National importance"?? Paying a couple of skanks for a confidentiality agreement?
Those people and the media are sure full of themselves. Wonder if Cohen is enjoying his stay in Club Fed.

Trump paid off liberal sluts who were blackmailing him and we’re suppose to desert him?
Gimme a break.

How come releasing Obama's Hawaii birth records wasn't of "national importance," if this is? Because, Obama voluntarily released his Birth Certificate.

Anything that is potentially politically useful to Democrats is “a matter of national importance.
The judge is just another liberal politician in a black robe.

Just ignore it. This is fishing and he has no probable cause that a crime was committed.
Then sue him for abuse of power.

Didn't we just go through all of this and nothing came of it ?
So why again ?
Obviously, to keep the narrative alive as if it is a new discovery.

Same tricks worked when Ryan was spanking the community organizer, in Illinois, and ended up forcing Ryan to withdraw. Ushering in years of one puppet and his masters doing their best to destroy this country.
I wonder who the judge says has standing to hand down a ruling like this?

Agreed. If the SDNY found nothing in them to go after the President, then no one else will.
