FULL TITLE: 'Bachelor' Creator Mike Fleiss Accused of Attacking and Injuring Pregnant Wife After Demanding Abortion
Laura Fleiss — wife of Mike Fleiss, creator of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" — claims he violently attacked her at the couple's Hawaii home after demanding she get an abortion and says the attack was caught on security cameras.
According to the documents obtained by The Blast, Laura filed an emergency domestic violence restraining order today, claiming that on July 4, "While we were at our house in Kauai, Mike demanded that I get an abortion. Our son Ben was in the house, seated in another room nearby. Mike told me, 'If you have an abortion, then we can just go back to the way we were.'"
Laura, who is the 2012 Miss America winner, says she is about 10 weeks pregnant with the couple's second child.

I’ve been around a long time, but I still don’t understand what comes over some people to treat their spouses or partners like this, over and over. Once is horrible enough, but such situations can go on for years. There is a lot I still don’t get about average people. I admit to being a little naive sometimes, but I wasn’t bought up to ever think that was okay.
The flip side is why people will stay in that kind of a relationship, where the barbarity flares up again and again and again. I guess some victims think they don’t deserve anything better in life.

Yes, why would she stay? She says she wants the house they live in. She ought to get the best divorce lawyer she can and get sole legal sole physical custody of the kids with a no contact order. The guy is a huge ass, worthless as a human being. She should accept responsibility for financing her own life too. To hell with him.

Pregnant women are at increased risk for domestic violence. The leading cause of death for pregnant women is domestic violence.
That he came up with a show called, ‘The Bachelor’ should have been a clue to his commitment to his wife and marriage.
Well, he created a show that thoroughly demeans the institution of marriage. So what would you expect?
