A step. Now, can they rescind the catch-and-release aleady issued? Send out notices for immediate hearings, wrap them up and deport them? And, if they fail to show up for hearings, to cancel work permits, to cancel visas or whatever they were given when released, then put them on immediate deportation lists.

This was talked about yesterday.
Basically, you can’t apply for asylum at the southern border unless you first applied for asylum and were turned down by Mexico. Obviously this doesn’t apply to mexians, but then, they have little chance of getting asylum in the US for the reasons we normally grant asylum.
Of course, the left will find a sympathetic judge to temporarily stop it, but it should be fine once it gets to the SCOTUS, if it is even fought to that point.
We treat "famblies" differently so what happened? Lo and behold 100,000 ersatz "famblies" show up at the border.
One of the new loopholes is "victims of trafficking". Suddenly there will be 100,000 "victims of trafficking" showing up at our border.
This overall plan is a good start, but there are enough loopholes to drive a truck through, especially once the lawyers get hold of it.
Mexico said you can’t do that you have to go through Congress ,LOL
