Call me a cynic, but I suspect that this was written up as an attempt to repair the damage in public relations that the Queen lesbian who said f*** Trump, or something like that.

And they have clearly rejected him by wearing a jersey to promote something he labeled an abomination. A decision they had plenty of time to contemplate. They chose their word over the word of God. And the one player who made a stand and lost her spot?
Not one of them stood up for her.
Now imagine the effect if the ‘Christians’ mentioned in the article actually walked the walk rather than merely talked the talk and also refused to wear the homosexual endorsement jersey. An actual discussion would have taken place and instead of the ignorant hate rained down of true Christians, eyes could have been opened and perhaps some souls of the sinners you speak of would have been saved. But no. Like most ‘Christians’, they wore the jerseys knowing folks like you would be there to knee jerk defend them rather than actually contemplate what their actions signify. How would you feel if they wore a jersey with an ad on it for Planned Parenthood? How about a website like Ashley Madison that promotes adultery?
So if you were on a world-class team that was playing for world championship, and you didn’t agree with the view of a few of your teammates, you’d quit?

if these young women are good Christians, then perhaps they wouldn't have let the creeps stomp on our flag after their win, perhaps they might have distanced themselves from their evil teammates....
