I remember some years ago the head of the Smithsonian (or head of its publication?) was fired because he didn’t go along with the derp program. My memory isn’t telling me the precise topic - globull warming, evolution story or something else.
I have heard there are rooms and rooms full of all kinds of evidence that contradicts the derp narrative that are hidden from the public.

I don’t recall that, lj, but it doesn’t surprise me. I probably had long since stopped caring about the Smithsonian except for articles and issues here and there when that happened with a guy who wouldn’t “do derp.”

That is exactly right, lj. As I understand it, LOTS of data is stored there and conveniently “lost” when people ask about it.
