The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a new rule Monday indicating that migrants who cross the southern border are not eligible for asylum unless they apply in the first safe country they enter. The rule, which only applies to prospective claims and will be finalized Tuesday, would effectively torpedo the current flood of asylum seekers, which consists mainly of Central American migrants who cross through multiple countries before reaching the U.S.
Attorney General Bill Barr released the following statement regarding the rule:

And both Mexico and Canada are signatories to the UN refugee treaty.
This will shut off the Asian, African and South of Mexico asylum scammers.
Still will need to keep vigilant to protect against seaborne invasion from the Caribbean.

Our asylum laws were written for the occasional Soviet airline pilot or chess player who wanted to defect, not the masses of economic "refugees" who have swamped the border.
Now start throwing out anybody who came through another country.
