So here is what President Trump just did. He made “the Squad” bulletproof. In other words, since all the Dems are now lining up in support, they can spew whatever nonsense they want from this point forward, and neither Nancy Pelosi nor anyone any other Democrat can say a thing about it. He just handed them nearly unlimited power in the Democratic caucus.
This will embolden them, and they will drag the Democrats even further into loony left land. Pretty brilliant strategy.

There is a good philosophical point to this.
If you see problems in the USA, great, let’s work on solving them, but YOU STILL LOVE YOUR COUNTRY. It’s like your teen or grown kid. You don’t turn to hate just because they haven’t progressed to where they should by now. You nurture and nudge, but you LOVE THEM. YOU ARE STILL PROUD OF THEM. Your kid has so many great qualities. Soon he will rise to the occasion.
That’s how leadership in congress SHOULD FEEL about America. They should be passionate about America, love their country, and still bring up issues that need work.
